Act Now: Congress Voting to Cripple Bird Protection Laws

At a time when more than 500 of our native bird species are threatened with extinction, a host of laws critical to bird conservation are under attack in Congress. The Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, the Endangered Species Act, and science-based conservation plans for sage grouse — all are at risk.

Together, we’ve fought hard to achieve legislative protections for birds. But a vote could happen as soon as today that could cripple these laws.

Act now: Tell your Senators and Representative to continue protecting birds. Ask them to stand up for the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, and Endangered Species Act!
