Field Trip Results Kumeyaay Lake

Hi Friends,

On Saturday September 21, twenty birders walked around Kumeyaay Lake and we found 41 bird species. The weather was great for a real late Summer Season day.

Lots of House Finches and Mourning Doves. Best birds were the Red-necked Phalaropes, Common Gallinules, and our first bird of the day, a nice Downy Woodpecker.
