Field Trip Results: Palomar Mountain State Park

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday, June 28, seventeen birders met up at Palomar Mountain State Park for our last PAS mountain field trip for 2014. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time.

We found 43 bird species. Lot’s of Purple Finches. Other good finds were a pair of Lawrence’s Goldfinches, a Red-breasted Nuthatch, and a Townsend’s Warbler. Here’s our list:
