La Jolla Cove Trip Report

Below is our report of the Palomar Audubon Society’s walk at La Jolla Cove yesterday. About 25 participants were treated to excellent views of Brown Boobies, a Wandering Tattler, and two Peregrine Falcons. Our Cove guru, Stan Walens, also spotted a probable Least Storm Petrel, and a possible Belcher’s Gull, a rarity from South America.
