Lake Murray Field Trip Report

Hi Everyone,

The Saturday July 1 field trip at Lake Murray was attended by thirteen birders. We had great weather, overcast and cool.

We found 37 species. Best birds were close-up looks at a couple of California Thrashers, several California Gnatcatchers, and four young Common Gallinules.  Mourning Doves and Great-tailed Grackles were everywhere!
