Oak Hill Memorial Park — Field Trip Results

Hi Birders,

This morning, February 13, thirty-two birders met up at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido. We enjoyed the warm weather and found 47 bird species.

We encountered a good assortment of winter birds as well as the usual resident birds. Lots of Juncos, Lawrence’s Goldfinches, and Western Bluebirds. The highlight of the field trip was seeing 2 owl species and 5 different woodpeckers.
