Yesterday, Saturday April 1, thirty-three birders checked out San Pasqual Valley. The weather was perfect. We found 47 bird species.
Lot’s of Ibis and Orioles. Good look at a close-up Cattle Egret perched on a telephone pole.
Most of the birds were found on the Agricultural Trail, however, we found the Black-chinned Hummingbird,
Chipping Sparrow, and Lawrence’s Goldfinch during lunch at the nearby San Diego Archaeological Center.
Here’s our list:
Northern Rough-winged Swallow
