Oak Hill Memorial Park Field Trip Report

Hi Good Friends,

On Saturday, September 10, nine birders walked around Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido. The weather was very humid with a few sprinkles at the start of the field trip. We found 30 bird species. There were lots of Acorn Woodpeckers, House Finches, European Starlings, and Mourning Doves.

The best bird of the day was the Willow Flycatcher, found and photographed by Tsaiwei Olee.

Thanks go out to Tracy Henchbarger for putting together our eBird list, and also thanks go out to Tsaiwei, for capturing the nice photos!
