Nineteen birders enjoy good weather for an enjoyable day of birding. Due to the Escondido Rescue Run, we had to modify our planned route. We birded the east end of the park and were able to bird most of the Disc Golf course before play started. Trails in the “Panhandle” have been improved and the area was quiet. The best sighting was a Western Tanager.
