PAS Field Trip Report: Guajome Park

On Saturday, February 8, 25 birders enjoyed a sunny and cool morning walking around Guajome Park.  We saw a total of 58 species ofbirds including a handsome White-tailed Kite who was posed perfectly in the morning light and a rare Cackling Goose on the lake.  At our halfway point, we were greeted by Doug and Dianne Walkley with morning snacks and a chance to socialize with our birding friends.  Steve Ellis managed a great list of the birds we observed, and you can find it here with photos from our great photographers. https://ebird.org/checklist/S212697864
