Three Days of Birding in Oaxaca- Dottie Marron

Oaxaca, Mexico, is a biodiversity hotspot with a wide variety of ecosystems and a large number of endemic bird species. In three days of birding, Dottie Marron saw 103 bird species in three completely different ecosystems.  This presentation will take you to tropical broad-leaf forest, dry jungle, and cloud forest habitats to see the unique birds in each area, many of them endemic to one specific area of Mexico. Dottie will also share her tips about traveling in Oaxaca and the ease of getting around to experience the beauty and culture of southern Mexico.
