Time: 8:00 am – 10:00 am
Location:

Description: Join a knowledgeable SDTT instructor for FREE informal lessons in the art of wildlife tracking. The event will consist of approximately one hour of instruction on tracking terminology and tracking reference formulas, and one hour in the “dirt” looking at real tracks. All experience levels are welcome. Learn how to identify the tracks and scat of coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, deer, and other wildlife in our area!
We will be capping registration for this event at 25 people, so a RSVP is required. Please register online at: http://sdrvc.org/san-dieguito-citizen-science-wildlife-tracking-outreach-event or email Conservation Manager, Jess Norton at jess@sdrvc.org.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about SDTT and start on the path to monitoring wildlife within the River Park. Citizen scientists wishing to participate in future wildlife surveys will need to attend a FREE SDTT Wildlife Survey Volunteer Training. The next SDTT training is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2014. For more information on the volunteer training, please contact SDTT at info@sdtt.org.
