PAS Field Trip Report: Oak Hill Memorial Park

Hello Friends
On Saturday, September 21st, Thirty-One of us showed up for our semi-annual birding field trip.  I like this location; its permanency and varied habitat provide good opportunities for us to have good birding.  We saw the most Lark Sparrows I have ever encountered, 3 roadrunners at almost the same moment. Linda found a Long Tailed Weasel occupying some fallow property next to the cemetery. It provided a great diversion and the word “cute” rang through the mortuary air.

I have attached the Ebird list below. Thank you Mary Joe for compiling. It would seem many of our photographers came without their cameras so if anyone posted photos;

“Thank You”.   https://ebird.org/checklist/S195973382

See you next time.
