HI Friends,

Twenty-eight birders met up this morning at Oak Hill Memorial Park. This location is a regular winter (February) field trip. Today’s summer field trip was not very productive for finding the birds, but the weather was perfect for a leisurely fun walk. Everybody had a very enjoyable morning. We found 34 bird species. Lots of Western Bluebirds, Acorn Woodpeckers, & Cassin’s Kingbirds. A Great Horned Owl made a sudden fly-by to a large palm tree and then later flushed when we found it again.
