On a glorious, breezy spring day, approximately 25 birders hiked the Azaelia Glen Trail and the campground.  The greenery and flowers were really amazing, as it has not begun to “brown-up” like lower elevations.  Nice birds included Black-chinned Sparrows, Olive-sided Flycatcher and several Lawrence’s Goldfinches.  We enjoyed a pleasant picnic afterwards.  Very nice way to spend a morning, indeed!
