Hi Everybody,
On Saturday September 24, twelve birders walked around Kumeyaay Lake in
Santee. The weather was quite warm, low-90’s, so the walk was
uncomfortable at times. We found 38 bird species. Lots of American
Goldfinches, House Finches, Anna’s Hummingbirds, American Crows, &
Scaly-breasted Munias. We did however, find our “First Of Season”
White-crowned Sparrow and a Yellow-rumped Warbler.
