Palomar Mtn. Field Trip Results

Hi All,

Today, Saturday June 18, nine birders checked out Palomar Mountain State Park.

It wasn’t the heat that made the walk uncomfortable – it was actually pleasant weather – but all of the flying insects! In your face!

We found a good mixture of mountain birds — the place was loaded with Acorn Woodpeckers and Steller’s Jays.

We tallied up 38 species. Here’s our list:
