Friends,

About 28 birders join the walk on a beautiful sunny day.  We enjoyed close viewing of Little Blue Herons. We saw 44 species and 281 individuals at San Diego River Estuary.  At Formosa Slough we saw 18 species and 120 individuals.  A female Belted Kingfisher was seen in full sun and was stunning.  See the eBird report for details and many nice photos of birds seen.
