Torrey Pines Trip Report

Here’s a copy of my eBird submission for Saturday’s Torrey Pines walk.

The most exciting part of the trip may have been our up-close-and-personal looks at a coiled rattlesnake near the pump station. I assume it was a Southern Pacific rattlesnake (Crotalus oreganus helleri), although it looked darker than individuals I’ve seen in the past.
