Today’s heat was a challenge for the 14 birders that took part in the walk. At 8 AM it was already in the 80’s and two hours later it was 96 with a “feels like” of 103. We kept the walk short and took the route with the most shade. Most of the birds were seen at the start of the walk and we saw a total of 28 species.
