Robb Field / Famosa Slough Trip Report

We had a good turnout of at least 39 birders. The weather was overcast and pleasant. Many of the shorebirds were in breeding plumage, which is always a treat. Saw a Great-blue Heron swallow a fish that was so large that if you did not see it, you would never believe it. Finding a Yellow-crowned Night-heron at Famosa Slough was a bonus.

Between the two locations, we saw 46 species.
