Field Trip eBird Report – Dixon Lake, Jan 4, 2014

Birders,
Thank you for your help today with not only finding the birds but with aiding new and visiting birders. Our final number increased when I redid the list, forgot the corvids completely and the bushtits!!! The Canvasback was a lifer for more than one birder. While not a very birdy day, we got good views of most of our feathered friends. The funniest scene was the two coots with the knot-shaped pretzels in their bills swimming off the dock. They didn’t quite know what to do with them.
Until next time,
Sally Sanderson
