The start was on the cold side, but warmed to the seventies with partly cloudy skies. Jeff Ebright was the substitute leader and followed Jim’s instructions for the latest route. Our best bird was right at the start of the walk. A Red-breasted Sapsucker was very cooperative and everyone got a good view. It was a lifter for one of the birders. Twenty-two birders joined us for the walk including one from Virginia and 2 new birders.
