KIT CARSON PARK FIELD TRIP RESULTS

Hi Friends,

On Saturday August 26, twenty-one birders walked around Kit Carson Park and we found 41 bird species. The morning was overcast which made for a very comfortable hike. However, at the end the sun was out and it was quite warm.  Lots of Mallards on Sand Lake. The best birds of the day were a couple of California Gnatcatchers that gave us an up-close sighting.
