On Saturday, July 11, twenty-two birders met up at the Tijuana Estuary in Imperial Beach. The weather was really nice. We initially birded the area around the Estuary and the North McCoy Trail, where we found 23 different bird species, and then we drove over to the beach and birded along the coastline, all the way to the US/Mexico border. Here at this location, we found 22 different bird species. Many thanks go out to Steve Ellis for keeping track of the birds we found, and also, thanks to our wonderful photographers.
